Our Background

This agency has always been a family business. Although we have grown over the years, we have invited only the most qualified people to be a part of our organization, and we continue to maintain the same goal we started with—establish unmatched customer relationships.

In 1977, we acquired our first agency from my uncle, Leland Helt. There were two employees at that time, Betty Helt and myself (Dennis Holloway).

Then, in 1981, we merged the Holloway Insurance Agency and the Todd-Bauer Agency with the Dave Patterson Agency. The name of the agency became Holloway, Bauer, and Patterson and Associates. The company steadily grew during the eighties, and we eventually bought the Furhman Agency, and merged our two locations, Leetonia and Columbiana, into the Furhman building at 29 S. Main Street in Columbiana.

In 1992, when we purchased the Jones Agency, we opened a second office in Salem, Ohio, and in 1994 we moved to our present location at 105 South Main Street in Columbiana in order to combine the Salem and Columbiana locations. We also shortened our named to Holloway Insurance, Inc.

This agency has always been a family business, and even though we have grown over the years, we have made it a priority to only invite the most qualified people to be a part of our organization. Our company has grown and will continue to grow with the combined efforts of all employees.

Because we remain a small organization at heart, it is vital that everyone works together to provide the best possible service to our customers. We want to give clients the most comfortable and workable environment possible. We always pick up the phone. We always look out for your best interests. We always work for you!
